Atypical Dance Initiative

The aim of our Autism Dance Initiative Program is to enhance the lives of individuals who are neurodivergent or on the autism spectrum through fun, interactive ballet classes. Because dance is a non-verbal language we believe that this program can enhance:

-The mind body connection
-Social skills
-Artistic and emotional expression
-Connection with oneself and others
-Physical coordination
-A sense of musicality
And so much more

We are currently providing this program to neurodivergent pre-school children ages 3-5 in partnership with The Haven, a local non-profit established in 1954 that houses and educates people with disabilities.
