Cecilia Roddy
Cecilia began dancing in her hometown Richland, WA with Mid-Columbia Ballet and trained under Debra Rogo and others through high school. With MCB, she had the opportunity to perform in many local performances throughout the community as well as around the country with The Ballet Alliance. She attended many programs in the summers on artistic scholarship such as Kansas City Ballet and the University of Utah Summer Intensive.
In April of 2023 she graduated from Point Park University with a BA in dance with a concentration in ballet. She performed in many works both classical and contemporary in her three years at PPU. These performances included the Sleeping Beauty Prologue as a soloist, What I Think choreographed by Christopher Huggins, and Two Lost Souls choreographed by Bob Fosse and others. Cecilia is very excited to be a part of Azara Ballet for her second season and to be a part of their wonderful vision for the ballet world.
