About the event
This is our very first Nutcracker Suite! It is a semi-informal performance due to the last minute nature of our change in plans. Originally this performance was going to be 4 short excerpts from the Nutcracker. It was meant to take place outdoors at a local winter festival but we discovered at the last minute that the stage was much smaller than what we'd been told! With just days to spare, we refused to waste all of that rehearsal time we'd put in! Instead we decided to move forward with the performance, add in a few more dances, and present it at the black box studio theater of the Ovation School of Musical Theater in Bradenton.
