Sam Jones
Sam Jones started dancing at the age of 7 at Southold dance theater in South Bend Indiana. He trained primarily with Alexei Kremnev and Anna Reznik. He then participated in the Joffrey ballet’s first trainee program on full scholarship where he performed with the company in works such as Lar Lubovich's Othello and Robert Joffrey's Nutcracker. At the age of 19 he was offered a contract with Cincinnati Ballet where he performed as corps de ballet for 5 seasons. In his time with Cincinnati Ballet he worked with such notable choreographers as Val Caniparoli, Amedeo Amodio, Adam Hoagland, and Trey McIntyre. Jones graduated summa cum laude from University of Cincinnati’s dance program which he attended on full scholarship, and then performed with Oklahoma City Ballet as corps de ballet for 5 seasons where he performed principal roles in works by choreographers such as Robert Mills, Septime Webre, and Cayetano Soto.
